If you feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve you—whether it's in your body, behavior, or relationships—you’re not alone. Maybe you’ve talked about what happened. Maybe you know your story. But healing hasn’t landed in your nervous system.

I help people heal trauma at the level of the body and subconscious—where it lives—so they can reconnect with their most empowered, authentic self.

“The only journey is the one within.”

About Jayde Clark, LMFT

I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a background in neuropsychology and a deep passion for trauma recovery. My academic training blends the scientific study of the brain with relational, depth-oriented therapy, allowing me to approach healing at the intersection of mind, body, and story.

Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals, couples, and teens navigating everything from complex PTSD and dissociation to grief, addiction, and spiritual abuse. I specialize in EMDR, somatic therapies, and psychedelic integration, always tailoring the process to each person’s nervous system and life path.

Beyond the therapy room, I’m the author of an upcoming epic fantasy novel that weaves together trauma healing, sacred ecology, and mythic storytelling. I also host a companion podcast series, The Attuned Self, where I interview artists, thought leaders, and real-world inspirations behind the characters in my book.

Together, my clinical work and creative projects are part of a larger vision I call Regenerative Mythic Futurism—a movement rooted in reprocessing the past, reconnecting to the Earth, and re-authoring the future.

Outside of therapy, I recharge by going to yoga, hiking, swimming, photography, and birding—anything that helps me reconnect with the natural world. I also love tending to my garden, experimenting in the kitchen, getting lost in a good book, and unwinding with animated TV shows.

Therapeutic Approaches

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

  • Emotion-Focused Therapy for Couples

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Somatic Experiencing

  • Narrative Therapy

Individual Therapy (18+): What to Expect

My approach is collaborative, integrative, and deeply personalized. I blend cutting-edge, evidence-based therapies (EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, IFS, DBT) with timeless wisdom from traditional healing practices—such as breathwork, meditation, food as medicine, yoga, and psychedelic integration—so that healing can reach every level of your being.

Couples Therapy: What to Expect

I offer trauma-informed couples therapy rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), enriched by practical tools from the Gottman Method and DBT.

In our work, we’ll improve communication, restore connection, and co-regulate your nervous systems so you can build the secure bond you deserve.

When appropriate, I also incorporate EMDR for couples—so that you can help each other heal the deeper wounds that may be getting in the way of your relationship.

Individual Therapy (Ages 13–18): A Space of Their Own

I offer a safe, grounded space for teens to process the complexities of modern life—pressures that even the most loving parents can’t always resolve.

My work with adolescents is built on clear boundaries, clinical integrity, and deep respect for their autonomy. Confidentiality is strictly protected so therapy feels like a space that belongs to them—not one shaped by outside agendas.

Many young people find therapy retraumatizing when they feel observed or managed. Here, they’ll find a place to think, feel, and speak freely—held with attunement, not control.

I specialize in treating the root cause behind:

  • Anxiety & Panic

  • Depression & Shutdown

  • PTSD & Complex Trauma

  • ADHD & Executive Dysfunction

  • OCD & Repetitive Behaviors (Trichotillomania, Dermatillomania)

  • Addictions & Coping Mechanisms

  • Bipolar Disorder

  • Psychosomatic Conditions (e.g. migraines, IBS, chronic pain)

  • Sleep Disturbance

  • Low Self-Esteem & Self-Limiting Beliefs

  • Creative Blocks

My deepest clinical experience includes:

  • Narcissistic Abuse & Domestic Violence

  • Childhood Neglect & Developmental Trauma

  • Foster Care & Adoption Trauma

  • Spiritual Abuse & Religious Deconstruction

  • Corporate/Occupational Burnout

  • Sexual Abuse

  • Military & War Trauma

  • Divorce & Grief

  • Motor Vehicle Accidents

  • Racism & Systemic Trauma

  • Bullying & Belonging Wounds

Instrument of Becoming—

A Novel by Jayde Clark

What if the universe wasn’t a thing, but a verb?

Instrument of Becoming is an epic fantasy novel that explores the fractal nature of reality, the power of trauma reprocessing, and the journey of reclaiming one’s truth in a world built on silence. Rooted in sacred ecology and visionary experience, the story follows two protagonists—Aluna and Siran—whose paths converge inside a living maze where healing is not just personal, but planetary.

Blending mythic storytelling, psychedelic insight, and deep psychological truth, this novel is a call to those who feel fractured—to remember the rhythm beneath the pain, and to become an instrument through which the world can heal.

This book is part of a larger movement—The Attuned Self—which includes a companion podcast series and clinical vision for healing at the level of body, story, and soul.

Substack: The Attuned Self

This is where the threads come together.

My Substack explores the raw intersections between neuroscience, trauma therapy, myth, ecology, and psychedelic science. It’s a behind-the-scenes journal of me developing EMDR-assisted psychedelic protocol—where clinical insight meets visionary experience.

Here, you’ll find deep dives into the mechanics of memory and meaning, reflections on altered states, and the philosophical framework known as Regenerative Mythic Futurism. It’s not polished or packaged—it’s the living, breathing process of a new healing paradigm being born.
